GREEN FIRE FOUNDATION FISCAL SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION APPROVED!

We are excited to announce that the Green Fire Foundation's application for fiscal sponsorship from the Alchemical Nursery Project - The Quinta Essentia Program ~ has been approved!  Now all we need to do is finish up some of the paperwork details and get these green fires stoked up for the coming 2011 year!

2011 goals are to:

1. Write comprehensive program guidelines
2. Seek out first endowment funds
3. Apply for operation grant
4. Scout for qualified board members 
5. Update website
6. Plan & execute first fundraising event

Green Fire Foundation is honored to be able to work interdependently with the Alchemical Nursery Project in furthering both organizations missions to enable and empower sustainable community development.  

Green Fire Foundation's mission is to support developing and existing EcoVillages and sustainable communities through:

• PROVIDING INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS.
• PROVIDING SMALL LOANS AND GRANTS TO START-UP COTTAGE INDUSTRIES BASED IN ECOVILLAGES AND DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES.
• PROVIDING GRANTS FOR GROUPS AND COMMITTEES THAT FORM FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING AND ESTABLISHING LEGAL PROTOCOLS THAT ALLOW ECOVILLAGE AND LOW-IMPACT SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT TO OBTAIN PLANNING APPROVAL BY LOCAL OR STATE/REGIONAL AGENCIES
